Oh God, this series will do us all in.

I keep thinking we may be in shock after it...for one reason or another!

Was the swimming pool and the aquarium in episode one? I have a feeling they were episode two. It's all getting a bit foggy now. (Just checked and the aquarium was episode one, so could be connected).
How do they know there's a car involved?

As long as John isn't killed off, that's the main thing, and unless Martin Freeman has decided to leave the series, they won't do that to his character. They'd better not, because Sherlock is going to lose a lot of its viewers, including me, if Martin Freeman leaves it!
With that said, that doesn't mean that John's life won't be in danger at some point, as it was in "The Blind Banker," "The Great Game," and "The Empty Hearse."

Here are some interesting thoughts about the possible implications of those MI5 and MI6 characters in the episodes:

Ooooh, fantastic find. Scary thoughts.
I think S4 is going to be filled with all the terror and heartbreak we've been promised. The only reason I'm not completely panicked is because I believe there will eventually be great happiness beyond the heartbreak.

Possibly depends on your definition of the latter...
I also think it would be a kind of happiness.
But I certainly think the heartbreak is a given.

Some very interesting thoughts about the scene with Molly at the Watson's flat in ep 1/2:

Yes, that's interesting, especially as they don't link very much between episodes - if they do, it's got to be significant. I'm not sure about the "deductions", though - if Mary phoned Molly to babysit, why would Sherlock think she had been abducted? It's possible (abductors allowing her to phone round for a babysitter), but it seems more likely she had to leave urgently. Also why would that make David the father of the baby? That seems quite unlikely - you get the impression from TSOT that he's an ex and while he's still interested in Mary, it's not mutual. And Mary is in the very early stages of pregnancy at the wedding.
