Am I really the only totally Cumberbatched person who's not excited about Dr Strange? Really, such a huge waste of such massive talent. (Quite apart from the fact I loathe beards and moustaches).

I will pass judgement once I've seen the film, but I am certainly looking forward to it,

I'm not totally "Cumberbatched" - except when it comes to BBC Sherlock because I can't picture anyone else playing that role so perfectly! And I'm not into comic book hero movies either; but I probably will see Dr. Strange out of curiosity and so I can keep up with the comments here.
I haven't seen 'Black Mass' yet either which is weird because I was there when they filmed the St. Patrick's Day parade. It's still on my to-do list. Well, maybe this weekend On-Demand.

My son currently has my copy.
I saw it the once and never want to see it again.
Good film and all the actors are excellent, but not really my thing.

As a fan of both Benedict and comic books, I can't wait for Doctor Strange! When they first mentioned him in connection with the project I thought he would be perfect for it.

"There are no small parts, only small actors."
It´s up to the talent of an actor to make something big of any role he is given. For a good actor, no role is a waste, everything is a challenge, a way to make your skill of acting shine.
Therefore I´m very curious what Benedict will build from this comic book character, what inner life he would endow him with. Can´t wait for the movie to appear.

I agree, nakahara. And he did an insightful interview as well:
And look what I discovered in my local cinema. It is big. Very, very big.

Woohoo!

Yesterday I was travelling by train and in one of the stations I spotted similar, very big billboard advertising Dr. Strange on one of the buildings. I barely restrained myself from squeeing.

Beautiful! Sadly my local cinema is far out at the harbour in the scary industrial part so it's not really one I pass by...
But yesterday travelling to a dreaded family Birthday there was a cinema at one of the major train stations we got off at... and it made my entire day to see all the posters

I hestitated a bit but today I decided to go to the German premiere in Berlin. Bought tickets after talking to my friend who lives in Berlin. He's happy to see both the German version and the OV with me on October 26. It's going to be a long night...
