Oh, maybe Mycroft would have set it up anyway!
Ha. Yes, obviously I recognise Mike is essential.
But many characters outlive their usefulness!

No, we can't!

I read this lovely piece on Tumblr ripping the Daily Mail article apart, line by line.

Oh God, tonnaree, this is awesome! You must be very, very, very pleased! Elated even, I should think! I'm really happy for you!

I will be there, but probably won't have time/energy for a big meet-up. I get overwhelmed by stimuli very quickly and situations like the con bring me to my limits. Last time, after running around like crazy all day long I spent my evenings in the bathtub trying to process all the information.

Yes, I understand that. I didn't have any 'problem' (it's not a problem, but I can't find the word ) last year but I'm having more and more difficulties with crowds. Fingers crossed that telling myself that we're all the same at Sherlocked will keep any unwanted reaction at bay.
It'd be neat if you were to be okay for a small meet up though. Maybe a cup of tea or a drink in the area?
And please don't you '' as if feeling overwhelmed by stimuli very quickly and needing time to yourself were something to be ashamed of. It's not.

I have experienced the most weird thing last time. I normally get annoyed/aggressive in crowded places, but I knew I cannot bite any fellow fans. :-) I actually enjoyed the whole situation and was aware of it, but my brain slowed down, so I needed literally seconds to react on things that happened around me. I remember seeing Johathan Aris walking by and until I realized it he was far far away... But the worst was my English failing miserably in all that noise and funny dialects/accents.
Where are you staying?
I'm coming on Thursday and plan a little walk around the city on Friday (need to go to Gover Street and Bart's alone this time to really inhale the vibes) but maybe on Friday afternoon before opening...

Only 250 days till Sherlocked USA!

@tonnaree These 250 days will pass in a flash
@JP Yes, brain slowing down. Sounds familiar. Re: Jonathan Aris, the man is a delight. I was not panicked per se but nervous and just having him talk to me for a few minutes was enough to calm me down. The fact that it was still early in the day, that his photo booth was not crowded and just the fact that he actually talked to me helped. Now of course any of the guests would have done the same as he.
Ah, it sucks when you note that your English stops being as good as it should be because of...well, any reason and that you notice.
Visting North Gower Street. Huh. I have absolutely no idea why you'd do that xD Bart's...if you're easily attacked by feels just know that...'could be dangerous'. I went last summer (2015) and good Lord was it hard...Had to drink an insane amount of cups of tea (there's a very good tea room not far away, like 10 minutes away, on 14 Farringdon St, it's called To A Tea and the atmosphere of the place is nice. Wouldn't recommend it at lunchtime -it is in the City, after all- but any time before or after that is good) before the feels disappeared in the background.
I'll arrive at Saint Pancras at 6.30pm, meet up with Lautrela and will head for my hotel which is roughly at 500m from the ExCel. In the afternoon is kind of impossible then... After my arrival, depending on how you feel?

I was at both places but with a companion. To me being somewhere with someone and alone are two extremely different experiences. It was fun to talk to a fellow fan, but I cannot concentrate on a person and my surroundings at the same time.
Did you also had the impression that all the actors are incredibly small?
Offline
I see what you mean, not being able to concentrate on your surroundings when accompanied. Of course you'd notice things, but not as many and certainly not with the same intensity as if you were alone.
The actors incredibly small...not all of them. Lars is a GIANT, for example. Ben and Mark are not small either -though no giants!. But I do share the sentiment, albeit slightly amended. Lara was so small, just standing next to her I thought she'd break!
What kind of ticket have you got this time around?

I'm in ibis Styles London Excel. We could make something out.

Indeed we could, as long as you feel up to it

Ooh.
Martin would be nice.
But a giant 'f-k you' from BC to the DM, would be even better.

Mmm...what about both? :D
Of course I'll keep an eye on that page. Been doing so most of the day, why stop? XD

We are very proud to bring the star of Sherlock himself BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH who will be joining us for Sherlocked UK this Sunday 25th September! Once again Sherlocked the event has delivered for their fans. Thank you for your support and trust in us. We look forward to seeing you at the show.
He will be signing autographs, taking part in a talk and doing two photo shoots - with him individually, and with him on the 221b Victorian Living Room set.
Someone hold me, this is too good...
