Ha! Yes, do! You'll have fun I'm sure!
It might sound...a bit mad (completely bonkers), I imagine, but it feels like a part of me is missing.

It doesn't. I can relate.
But he'll be back soon!
Offline
I know he will.
I know I had a damn good fix with TAB.
I know he'll always be there (he's been around for a long time, hasn't he...)
Unfortunately knowing it doesn't make it any less hard
Time to come out Sherlock, love.

Less than 5 months until new Sherlock, now.

I know...
I need to get back to work - it'll distract me from...And there's Sherlocked in September and hopefully a trailer for series 4 later, not only a teaser.
Looking at it rationally there's no reason to miss Sherlock. But, well...

I read lots of Sherlock themed books, too.

There are quite a few listed on forum boards...
Depends what you like, as well.
I've read a fake biography, which I enjoyed.
I've read a Doyle biography.
The one I'm reading at the moment shows all the Canon references in BBC Sherlock.
I've read other Sherlockians 'make up' Sherlock Holmes stories...
I assume you've read The Chronicles, of the series?

Ah, the Chronicles. Of course I did. I do have a biography of Sherlock Holmes. I've not read it yet but I shall.
Thank you for the recommendations

So, my latest fan fic just got awkward... Sherlock's undercover character in the story is sort of based on my boyfriend... but I chose to call him William... also because of it being part of Sherlock's name... well I just NOW found out my boyfriend's brother is named William.

Hah, funny coincidence!
Offline
Well, in your defense it is a fairly common name.
Offline
That it is! and it was a bit similar to my boyfriend's name.... figures...

oh I love those tongue twister things. English is a fun language when you go a bit deeper! If you learn proper English grammar etc it's actually harder than German!

I love my beautiful language...but it is a total nightmare!

Interesting poem. Though, not all those words are strictly English.

English is a beautiful language! I'm quite happy I learned it proper (though I imagine I still make obvious mistakes...) The English I learned in school (even at high school/college with A level English) was questionable... I learned most of my English from films, TV, music... and then a lovely Scottish girl decided to help me online. I owe her a lot. She also taught me how to make a story more readable... and put them into paragraphs etc.
I often wonder if 'my' English has any specific Scottish to it without my knowledge.
But I know any time I've talked to an Irishman they assume I'm Irish.

Maybe your accent is a combination of Danish and Scottish so it sounds Irish to some people?
It's interesting how people perceive accents. My dad learned French here in Canada. When he went to France with my mum on their honeymoon, he spoke to a waiter in French at a restaurant. My dad asked the waiter where he thought my dad was from. The waiter thought he was from Belgium.

Oh my goodness.
We got our new(well, newer) car today.
Hubby is just sitting looking through the service record.
Turns out the original owner was called John Watson!
