Basil The Great Mouse Detective(Disney animated films)

I found one other thread referencing this film, but I felt it deserved it's own designated thread.
UK's  Channel 4 is currently re-showing it and I am really enjoying re-watching it.
I do have the dvd, which I've never actually got around to watching.
A pure delight for all of the family.

Re: Basil The Great Mouse Detective(Disney animated films)

My first introduction to Sherlock Holmes was Basil Mouse. I haven't seen the movie, but in the weekly Donald Dunic comic book/magazine, there were sometimes short stories with Basil.

Yes I hadn't realised the film was based on stories.
