I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

What kind of waltz is that, Sherlock?

He wears a lot of clothes.  Why doesn't he roast to death in a long sleeved shirt, suit jacket and big ol' woolen overcoat? Oh, and a wool scarf, too. Everyone on the street behind him is dressed for summer.  I sweat just thinking about it, lol.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

All of those baby and child pics of BC, it's too bad we'll never see his son Christopher, because I bet he'll  look just like his dad.  I don't want to push in where I'm not wanted, but I would so enjoy seeing a photo of Christopher once a year or something. Ah, well, it's not to be.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I feel similar, ag, but it's better that way. The poor child would be ripped apart both by love and by delusional hate. He's better off and safe that way. We will survive
