That article seems to be the same as the previous one. I think the headline twists his quotes to look a certain way. I certainly read it as if he's expecting to do S5:
That’s why I think it’s unlikely that we’ve completely finished it. There would be nothing strange in stopping for a while. It could go on forever, coming back now and again. (my bold)
Personally, I would love to see an episode in future years with an elderly Sherlock and John (please still be with us, Una!).

Quite so.

Yes, I too would like to see an episode with elderly Sherlock and John.
I don't know why I've started to panic. Honestly, it's...yeah. Sorry about that :/

I remain quite pragmatic about it...if it ends it ends, nowt any of us can do but enjoy what we have and continue supporting the team in their other work.

Oh yes, I'd definitely do that whatever happens.

Oh God that one...I'm still not over it. And I don't think I'll ever be.

Well I didn't get over that gap, cos I got sick of the endless theories of how he did it and I didn't want to see John belting Sherlock!
But, ancient history now...

I can't imagine how maddening it must have been !
It's just part of what we Sherlockian's do.

Yes, I'm adding: but always better when we know we are getting another series...however long we have to wait.
It will be very sad when we are eventually told: this is it, no more.

I maintain this is the best TV show ever and I will always be proud of what the team have achieved so far.

Since Sherlock was the one who was dangerously hurt in the 3rd season, I think it should be John's turn in this one. Therefore, let it be John needing the CPR this time!

Oh yes.

Oh, and I'm probably very shallow here... but I'm a bit excited that Sherlock finally looks like Sherlock...
With that said, I would like to see John once more looking like John!

Oh I like his new hair

Yes please - the Hollywood way, where John wakes up from getting CPR only to kiss Sherlock who performed it on him.

I freaked out over that article myself. My greatest fear is that S4 will end with a cliffhanger or a lot of unanswered questions and loose ends, and no S5 in sight. I would actually prefer that they just agreed that S4 would be the last, and then wrote it as the series finale and was done with it. Instead of leaving us hanging and we might, or might not, get a continuation of the story somewhere in the upcoming ten years.

I think S5 has been commissioned.

If this series is really the last one, I expect a real ending, not some awful cliffhanger. if Moffat really knows they can't schedule any more seasons then they should really head for a real ending at the end of third episode, instead leaving the fans hanging. All good show must have an ending, or it will be ruined. I certainly don't want this type of thing like a great show like this.

Well, maybe let's give them a chance!

I am really not worried, they all seem to enjoy it and Ben keeps saying he wants to do this for a long time...
