Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

It's pretty good, though it's more slow-paced than Sherlock. I still like it, though.

That's what I believe will happen.  Time will tell, of course.

I think Mary ran off in her black get up in E01, and in E02 we see what she is up to, and in E03 J@S go on a beach holiday together.

Watson taking holmes to recover and to get over Mary etc
Hopefully bury the drugs in the sand a la Granada scene -because he has the real thing back.
AWJ posted some nice beach recc. shots and Benjamin C directing the bleak noir landscapes and S@J close ups will be very Fine.

Not a new interview but I wanted to bring this quote back:

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

I can't help but think Mycroft MUST have something to do with "Miss me?"

The known timeline of events doesn't make sense. First, Mycroft asks Sherlock to reject a mission at the Christmas party- that was the "6 months = you die" mission. So that was already on the cards. Then later, after Sherlock kills CAM, we see Mycroft say to the chairperson "England will always need Sherlock Holmes. We can't incarcerate him; but the alternative would require your approval." Well that alternative can't be the mission they already offered him, can it? Yet he sends Sherlock off on the "6 months mission" anyway. If he'd made some sort of arrangement with the chairperson, this wasn't it. And then we get the miraculously-timed "Miss Me". All a bit too convenient, IMO. Mycroft set that up, and that can't be the whole of it. What else does he have planned to keep his lil' bro busy and 'needed'?

And Sherl's gonna find out the truth sooner or later. M-Theory, here we come~

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Yes, it's never quite made sense that Mycroft would willingly send Sherlock off to his death.  He'd at least "disappear" him, something which has precedent in the show.  So yes, calling him back to fight Moriarty might be better as it might get him off the hook altogether.   The only thing is that he'd need to keep Moriarty going for a while - just coming back and then Moriarty not being heard of wouldn't be enough to assuage the powers that be, presumably.   Is it possible that's what Sherlock means by "I know what he's going to do next"?

That quote sounds very ominous, Susi!

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Oh I think it is the same mission...the whole point is Sherlock is going away knowing he won't be coming back.
So somebody invents the ' miss me' thing to bring him back.
Yes, Sherlock states Moriarty is dead and the team all seemed very firm in echoing that, in the TAB post mortem interview...
So Moriarty has left instructions, or somebody is following on from him etc.

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Yes, that's what Sherlock knows. It doesn't explain why Mycroft had to obtain 'approval' to do something they'd already tried to get him to do earlier, though.
