Lovely!

They are really similar. It would certainly be interesting to have Sherlock trek up the waterfall to confront Moriarty, only to find Mary. Although not so much of a surprise now that I've thought of it. But it would be a nice parallel for Mary seeming to be somebody else in Mycroft's office (edit: I meant Magnussen's office, but of course she appears to us to be John in Mycroft's office in TAB too). Or appearing in black in TAB.

Great idea Lib.
Would also tie in with agra....lost at sea ish. Well in the water and add doubt to Marys death.

Interesting...will they go there?

Well, I think something has to happen to Mary and I think she either has to go out as a hero or a villain. I suppose she could be either in this scenario.

I really don't think she'll go out as a villain.
I still think her past may simply catch up with her, she may just be unlucky or better still sacrifice herself to save someone she loves

I agree Besley.
Mary as a female ( more deadlier than the male) mirror of Sherlock falling down TRF in an effort to defeat her villainous past and protect her future and present would be absolutely perfect.
And also leave room for her miraculous return a la Sherlock.

Oh I don't think she'll return...
She's not the one I want to return...sigh.

I really do not want Moriarty to return. Maybe in Sherlock's mind although I think this story is told. And I'd love to see new villains. Or have someone we know turn out to be a villain.

Really, really interesting with all the Reichenbach stuff... makes my scalp prickle!
Side note... I should go to bed, I actually read 'Reichenbach stripper' instead of sniper...

Haha.

Mary The Reichenbach Stripper... now that would be an interesting plot! LOL!

Could just be hidden away somewhere filming interior or studio locations.

Oh, yes, I suppose they're not going to expect the audience to fall for that kind of death without a body. But I suppose it could be a way to make her disappear again, as Sherlock did.
I keep thinking that in S3, just about everything of significance happened indoors, so wasn't revealed in Setlock.

Yes they know how to keep the goodies secret - which is good imo.
Benjamin Caron directing should be interesting.

Yes I've never seen Wallander, but I gather it's supposed to be fab.
