See, and you all keep calling it a beard when really it is just a little scruff. A little scruff can be dead sexy.
I like to imagine how it would tickle.

Yes, please! A scene in that damn yet-to-be-seen-bathroom..
You know the one with the transparent door leading from Sherlock's bedroom.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Some people spoke about the possibility that after the murder of CAM, Sherlock was forced to wear an electric device on his ancle to monitor his movements... and if you look closely on the photos above, the right ancle is really more massive as the other and a bit square in shape...

Poor Sherlock.

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Guess this confirms that the call for a stand in was for Toby Jones character and not John.

Yes, looks like it. I love how dark Sherlock and bright villain are opposed to each other.

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

I do not care for the beard/scruff. I do not mind it on Ben, but for Sherlock it just looks wrong. And it is not even a Shezza kind of scruff, more a bit of a baby hipster beard. Just no.

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Tbh, I do not really care for the looks of the beard but for its symbolic nature. Sherlock and John both growing a beard in exceptional situations. Both not being themselves at the time. Both taking it off (I am sure Sherlock will do as well) when the situation changes for the better.

Ooooh, we've had Casablanca mirrors before already.

Side Note:  Do we need to give The Beard it's own thread?
