Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

So happy to see Billy.  I find his deadpan, Marty Feldman-like comedic delivery to be hilarious.

Sherlock is definitely not himself - scruffy and stumbling.  Hmmm...is he faking or is it real?  My head canon wants to think that he has failed in his vow to protect Mary and the baby and he is in a dazed tailspin over his failure.  But I guess that would be too fan-fiction emotionally angsty for this show; so no, it must be something really twisted and interesting. I can't wait to find out the "truth".

And I said "dangerous" and here you are.

You. It's always you. John Watson, you keep me right.

I don't think Ben+beard belong together, although the Dr. Strange beard looks okay

It could be a virus or a poison. I am fine with the drugs but I think they will go for something new. And it would be Canon like in "Devil's Foot" or "Dying Detective".

Wow, now that was something to see first thing in the morning! I do agree I prefer my consulting detectives clean shaven, but still an amazing picture. Can't wait to learn what's going on!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Are you all really excited about the beard? Or is this just a accompanying symptom of setlock

The beard is only there temporarily, in service of the plot (probably the case of "Dying Detective"). It would serve its role as John´s moustache in TAB did and leave quietly, I believe. So I don´t mind it.

Also, Ben looks sexy with it.

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

I've no problem with the beard if it's necessary for the role. But there seem to be a lot of fainting here because of it, I just don't get it. I don't find it at all swoonable. And I usually like stubbles or 3-Tage Bärte (as we say in German) on men. But surprisingly not on him. But that's my problem right?!

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Sherlock is supposed to be very ill, drugged or maybe even dying in these scenes so I guess his beard is not really supposed to be swoonable. And it generaly isn´t. But on that photograph posted by Solar yesterday... hmmm, definitely swoonable, very much so.

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

I have to admit that at this point I'm not really all that excited about Setlock... but I'm excited about the beard. One of the best things about Setlock for me so far.

I could do without the beard, definitely. But I am so super excited about setlock that I don't mind. ;-)
