But still a good twist - especially if this time John and everybody were in on Sherlock's plan to pretend, and so didn't cotton on to the fact that he was actually seriously ill.

Who would deduce the truth and save him, if he was incapacitated?  Or would he be able to get a message across?

I said overkill, but I agree, it would be dramatic and exciting anyway.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Oh, oh... Billy Wiggings sighted... do I smell something drug-related?

In fact, more people professed their admiration for this cutie.
Apparently, you have a nest of demi-gods there in the UK.

Oh, I say!  An Adonis indeed!

nakahara wrote:

Oh, very interesting!  Maybe he procured the drug that Sherlock took to make himself appear to be dying (I must try to get myself out of this train of thought, as I'm sure it's going to turn out to be a completely different story to the one I'm telling myself!).

Or maybe Sherlock has relapsed without a list and without Mycroft?  John has been tasked to look after him ... what goes wrong?

Cupidford pointed out that they are with the mysterious limo. Do they follow Sherlock on it?

It's by far the most exciting Setlock, as far as I'm concerned- and it's my 3rd! Well I suppose, 4th with TAB!
