Yay, I got some good news today. I've been unemployed for 1,5 year now (job market in Norway is rough at the moment, particularly in the oil industry where I work). But today I finally got a job! Went for the interview at ten this morning and got a phone call around noon that they wanted me. I'll be starting next week already!
For the time being is a temp position until september due to sick leave. But the person on sick leave has been gone for a long time and might not be able to return to her job, so in that case my position will be prolonged. I'm so relieved!

The luck of the Irish was with me today!
I once in a while use an online casino... and mostly I make my money back... and sometimes they give me 10 free spins... well, they did today. Without putting anything in I took out £50.
It was on some football game (I hate footy... but I could choose my country, and I picked Ireland. And yup, it worked)

Well then of course today happened!
Well actually it wasn't quite so bad, got a few things sorted...but at one point I did worry that the new role(hence the miniscule pay rise!) may not be quite what I thought.
But yay, long weekend as the kids are not in school on Monday.
We are supposed to be, but instead we are all going to one of the local parks, to do a charity walk, to raise money for our colleague's charity.
Despite her terminal cancer, she is joining us on the walk.
This will be my first time of seeing her, since her terminal diagnosis.
So I am actually looking forward to it.
Then I get the afternoon off and I've already arranged to watch TAB with my daughter.

Today my mother finally accepted my LDR boyfriend... who still lives abroad... she saw the newest picture I have of him and told me she thought he had really kind eyes and looked like a genuinely good man. Continuing with some speech how much you can tell from a persons eyes...
We've 'only' been together for almost 2 years now. lol.
