Re: Parade's End

I pre-ordered the DVDs. Somehow I have little hope that it's going to be on German TV (and then there would be the dubbing).

Great you mentioned that! Now I can do the same...and enjoy it all in the original version as well.

Have been watching the trailer four times already, it looks really amazing.

Re: Parade's End

Wow *taking a deep breath* just finished the book(s). What a moving experience. I'm going to write something about it in my books thread, so be warned of spoilers. But I'd love to discuss it any time.

I just signed up for HBO in anticipation of this production - even though it's going to cost ma an extra $15.00 a month (those robbers!)

Re: Parade's End

Believe me, I'm as devastated as you are about not being able to watch Parade's End on TV. I was born into the wrong country, I think...

I guess I'll hold onto this as well...it really was a bit frustrating sitting in front of your television knowing what you could be watching if you were in another country...but whatever, I'll watch the DVD in the original version to get that feeling.

And I hope all you UK watchers had a good time tonight.

Susi, do you know if the DVD will be released in US at the same time? I can't afford HBO, but will definitely purchase the DVD when it becomes available.

I didn't find it on amazon.com so far. In Germany it will be available from 1 October. I hope it'll come soon to you.
