I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

This is interesting. The building Sherlock is going to is a seat of MI6 or MI5 (Mycroft´s working place!), if I remember correctly:

Yes it's MI6, MI5 is down the river or up the river. Know idea in what direction the Thames goes.
It's an impressive building. It was a bit destroyed in "Skyfall"
The MI5 building looks impressive too, like a fortress. What it kinda is.

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

The Thames flows into the North sea, so places nearer the mouth are downstream.
The pictured MI6 building is on the Southbank...dunno where MI5 is.

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Looks like a stand-off to me, but Mycroft isn't in his costume today, so who could that be?

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Oh that could be! It looks Mycroft

Ha, that was my 'go to' spot during my London trip... it was such a quiet place, so it helped my anxiety... and I have this need to be close to water.

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

I just watched the MI6 explosion scene from "Skyfall". M is in a similar position as Sherlock on Vauxhall Bridge. And did we ever comment on the similarities between the video she receives on the laptop shortly before the explosion and Moriarty's HLV video?

There are more similarities:

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Oh, yes, I remember that. And of course falling from a height and yet coming back from the dead. And there was more - I remember sitting in the cinema and going Sherlock!!! all the time.

And there was M dying ...
