Well it was Billie Piper that invented it, so I'm pretty sure it was. With the name like Tennant ,that makes sense, I don't think she took measurement.
But he should be okay with that nickname.

I wonder what scene he'll do tonight? Do you think it will be as Hamlet? I guess that's what everyone is thinking or Richard III. I wouldn't mind seeing something completely different. He once played Titania in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in a school play at Harrow. I'd like to see that.

Watching this amazing show I get so mad at my country's English teaching... we only had to read a few pages of Shakespeare in the curriculum... the teacher in my advanced English class chose the simplest and most known parts of Romeo and Juliette... I chose myself to write my major project on the madness in Hamlet (and was advised against it by my teachers, I then joked I'd then write about death in Macbeth... in the end I was 'allowed' to write about Hamlet...) It's such a shame really!
