Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

I don't want either!
Let's move on!

Eventually everyone will support Johnlock.

"If you're not reading the subtext then hell mend you"  -  Steven Moffat
"Love conquers all" Benedict Cumberbatch on Sherlock's and John's relationship
"This is a show about a detective, his best friend, his wife, their baby and their dog" - Nobody. Ever.

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

I'm with you on this!
But sadly all TV shows seem to like what I call 'lazy TV': oh let's have a wedding, the audience will love that.
Well this member of the audience doesn't!

I just have to ask, what the bloody hell is a fascinator?

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

You REALLY don't want to know.
Bloody stupid head wear, basically.
Why the hell anybody thinks they look nice...god only knows.
I presume Google images will be your friend...I don't want to look at the wastes of money!

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

Mark Gatiss is at it again. And it gets curiouser and curiouser:

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Now then... a bit of fun, or does it mean something?

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

There was a jokey theory that the episode will be filmed with only stunt doubles instead of the actors, so we can´t see their faces.
But stuntmen were maybe expensive, so they are switching to plushie now?

Of course we don't know the context but am I the only one who is not too fond of another episode revolving around weddings, christenings....bleh...

Add me to the list too

If I remember the photocall was for a very young baby, and in my experience, christenings don't tend to be for very young babies, so maybe it won't be a christening?  I think I agree with BB about the fascinators too.

Anyway, I keep dipping in and not really following (because I tell myself I don't want spoilers, when I do, really), so I'm not sure where the fascinator came from.   But fascinators aren't only worn to weddings, they're also worn to the races.   So if there's a horsey theme ....

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

After reviewing Google images I have come to the conclusion that fascinators are silly things but that I might be persuaded to wear one if I was in the right mood.

I Googled them too and I don´t know... I love the creativity involved in making so many shapes and styles of fasconators. I found them quite lovely.
