Handcuff scene

As Sherlock and Watson were handcuffed Sherlock jumps over a fence and left Watson on the other side. After that he said to him "go to right" but you didnt see whats happened. Can anyone explain it to me?

I think he meant that Sherlock should stand so that he could lower his hand down between two of the green poles of the fence, so that John didn't have to stretch so high and was able to get over the fence.

They work their way along to John's right, lifting the handcuffs over the top of each upright pole, towards the dustbin that Sherlock had jumped onto before he hopped over the fence.  John presumably then also climbs onto the dustbin and then can get over the fence.
