Thanks, it really was a great evening. We had nachos and several G&Ts. And in addition to the two Sherlocks above, we also saw the first Robert Downey Jr movie, which I haven't seen before.
Hope you had a great evening with the episodes as well.

Sounds good.
I'm watching a Scottish history TV show...
Also despairing, as I've now discovered I have no sound on my lap top!

Cross stitch!
My boyfriend has been renovating and decorating a room for his unborn niece so he can help babysit her at his house... I decided I wanted to make something for the walls. I am currently stitching a purple cat.
I haven't done cross stitch in years. I did it a lot as a little girl and a few years back I made a TARDIS. I planned to stitch a union jack pillow with Sherlock's shadow in the middle but I never got started...

Sounds like fun. I remember I got a kids cross stitch kit as a gift when I was little, but I haven't done anything like that in so long I don't know whether I'd be any good at all.

Cross stitching! I am working on a pale pink bunny rabbit right now...
It's for the room my boyfriend renovated for babysitting his niece, who still isn't born yet... I thought the grey walls needed a splash of colour so I started making some small cross stitch 'pictures'...
Of course there had to be an elephant too... a pink one even

Thank you! I hope they will look good in that baby room!
I just acted some of Ophelia's lines and ended up crying. I always did want to play Ophelia... maybe some day.

I just got back from the ANZAC Day dawn service. We had to get up at 3:45am to get there in time for a seat. It was pretty cold (but at least we don't get snow in April!). Quite a moving service. I was definitely ready to eat breakfast and warm up at McDonalds afterwards though!

It really is a long day... I would love a nap, but the kids just don't know how to be quiet! (It's the last day of school holidays too). Early to bed tonight, hopefully.

Trying to motivate myself to get off of my couch after a weird day...
I only have to 'cook' nachos and watch Doctor Who... but I've got no energy.

All of our staff are gutted.
Last week one of our colleagues was diagnosed with cancer.
Today we've all been told the doctors have said there is nothing that can be done for her.
Her husband came into work tonight, to tell us she's starting chemo...just to give her as much time and comfort as possible.
She was only 50 on Sunday.
