I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: The Big Special Picture Thread (spoilers)

Here is a link to a great post from someone who visited Tyntesfield. They do have a TAB exhibition going on with lots of information about filming:

Re: The Big Special Picture Thread (spoilers)

So much fun to read her account.  I remember I felt the same way when I made it to "Angelo's" in Soho and sat at the same window as John and Sherlock.  My happiness and excitement knew no bounds.

And I said "dangerous" and here you are.

You. It's always you. John Watson, you keep me right.

It is such a nice post to read. What a lucky person

I don't think such a thing could happen to me -I'd provoke it, to be honest

I love the way Sherlock's cape and Watson's coat billow behind them.
