Ooh how lovely!!
Darn I wish I could go!

Yeah, would love to see that, too. But unfortunately no chance...

Well he has to especially with that voice!
EDIT: Russell Brand well he reads Che Guevaras goodbye letter to his children. I always loved that quote "Above all, always be capable of feeling deeply any injustice committed against anyone, anywhere in the world."

Shame I'm not in London til the end of March.

Exciting! I already booked tickets a while ago for the last two nights, can't go earlier because my mother's birthday is on that weekend.

Letters of Note may become a TV series as well, with the support of Benedict's production company.

Yay, that would be lovely!!

I hope that awesome idea comes to fruition

Please yes.
Possibly part of it is realising that Benedict sells.

Speaking of Benedict and Letters again, I nearly completely forgot about their March event! Until Loo excitedly tweeted about it again with a picture of him, which got me all happily wistful again, then retweeted several others, which simply got me more jealous. Again, what a wonderful event (having fan favorites read those touching/funny/sad/crazy letters doesn't hurt... such a great collection that author started). Not sure who else there, but Carey Mulligan, Jude Law, Toby Jones, Ian McKellen, Gillian Anderson, Olivia Colman, Oscar Isaac, and... eee... apparently Louise and Sophie went up together?? (as seen from pic in next article?) And Benedict did Twain, Tom Hanks, and reprised the Chris & Bessie letters with Loo, while Sophie did Helen Keller. And this guy Hassan, from the pics below, a Syrian refugee, with an open letter to Europe. Wow.

Yes it took me by surprise too, when I suddenly saw tweets about it.
I tend to switch off, because it's never at a time when I can go.
This one sounds and looks like it was great.
Did you see the piece about Benedict' best man, Rob?
He got all tearful, when he was reading.
Sob...I could hug him.

Also, I just love Loo's tweet about it (the one after her cute, initial 'it's on!' tweet with a pic of Ben)
And here's that letter:
Never seen….. love it, and now trying to imagine her reading.

Sweet.

I know, I love it. And this is so utterly touching…. remember the previously mentioned guy Hassan, who was a refugee who read an open letter to the people of Europe? (and happily tweeted meeting his favorite actor, Ben?)

Oh thanks for making that connection... fantastic.

Wow. So I was mistaken. I thought it was Hassan's open letter he was reading… no, he was just the perfect person to do it. The letter was by Hossein to The People Of Europe, and here's the clip:
(edit… actually, I'm a little confused? browsing a couple articles, this one good example and they make it sound like it is his own open letter, but the video is clearly addressed with both of those names)
