Just found that thread again while I was looking for something. I wonder why we stopped posting here, because it's perfect for all the new BC photos. We usually use the "favourite photos" thread for new ones. But new ones aren't automatically favourites, right?

I hadn't realized we had this either. Thanks for bringing our attention to it.

Maybe someone could edit the "stalking" out. I agree not a good thread name choice. It sounds like we are sitting behind bushes in Hampstead.

Any ideas for a new title? I do not like it very much either. Just tell me and I am going to change it.

Not something I agree with, but I know paparazzi photos are not acceptable here on the forum. So if you're going to have a "new photo" thread, somehow the title should reflect the no-pap policy.

I first thought lets call it "Cumberspotting.-most recent official photos" But the word official is a bit restricting. Because the Doctor Strange shooting pics and Setlock photos aren't exactly"official", either.
 
What about putting "no pap photos!" at the end of the thread name?

Just my opinion, and just the way it's handled here in the US, but here, if a celeb is out in public with his family, then that's not considered private. Pap photos taken from helicopters, looking down into their back yards or something, that definitely IS an invasion of privacy. But if a celeb takes the wife and kids out to a public restaurant or basketball game or to Disneyland, or the paps find them doing mundane everyday things like putting gas in their car at the local Shell station, then all bets are off.  Many do not agree with any of that, of course, but here in the US, the paps have their rights, just as the celebs do, and the two groups are always jockeying to find some kind of balance.

I don't think it's going to be possible to eliminate all pap photos of Ben from this thread. Think about it.... how else is he "spotted" photographically? Limiting this thread to official photos of some kind is not "spotting".
