The Suffragists were referenced. Mary was one, I believe.
The ladies at the end were part of a death cult.

I´m also curious about this:
Although we saw the actual red setter in Sherlock´s MP, it can happen that Sherlock never actually had a dog....
That´s why I would never trust Moftiss. They retcon their own creation with glee. Who knows what they do with Watson baby... will their erase it in a similar way?

So even Mycroft is puerile now?
I understand why they need Mary then... some adult is needed to watch over ths kindergarten, apparently...

I thought that was funny!

I think this was Mark talking, not Mycroft. Remember the video some months ago? The interview in the café where they showed his notebook with exactly such a drawing in it?

Now that you mention it, I had a hunch that I had seen this incriminating photo of his notebook...

I like the fact that it's the same notebook as from SIP.
It's the little details that count.

The comment to this gifs on tumblr is "no that's what Mark does!"

Possibly when he was about 13!

There was an anachronistic can of "diet coke" in some morgue set stills I saw... whether for effect or by accident...

Have you seen the ad he did for Block & Last shoes recently?
Watch carefully from about 0:55 and you'll see the doodles in his notebook. He's not 13 anymore, but he does draw penises in his notebook! Could be a cheeky thing he did just for the eagle-eyed among us

Part of the ad?!

It's very blink-and-you'll-miss-it, but yes, it's in the ad (and it's otherwise a very classy ad). It's only fans like us that have made screen caps to see what he's reading and what's in his notebook

He is the naughty guy - here is the incriminating photograph:

Ah, there it is. Try as I might, I couldn't find it anywhere. Thanks nakahara

Mark has a wicked side. Let's remember, he's written porn.

I loved the interview, thanks for sharing! Some great stuff in it:
- I loved how they confirmed that Sherlock was berating himself for having treated the women in his life badly
- I loved how they also agreed that the "death cult" had nothing to do with real feminists and suffragets (which I know some people criticised them for)
- It was also great fun to see that my interpretation of fat Mycroft was correct - it was a jab from Sherlock in his own mind. (Not that I'm claiming I was the only one who saw it that way, I reckon most people did).
I don't think "the theme everyone missed" is Johnlock either. For the same reason you guys have mentioned - Johnlock isn't missed at all, and Moftiss are very well aware of it.
I love these guys, it's always entertaining to see them talk about (and fanboy over) Sherlock. Really looking forward to S4!
(One thing, though - why would Mark be upset about having told Ben something that would happen with Sherlok later on? I thought it would be a good thing for the main cast to know the gist of the journey for their character, as that might help them in the way they act and interpret their character).

No and the actors don't want to know...
Amanda didn't know Mary's past and said she was glad she didn't!
