Oh wow!  She directed my all time favourite episode of Doctor Who!  This is very exciting!

Awesome!   Love how Arwel includes us.

He's always really nice with the fans on Setlock, too...but all the crew are. Lovely people.

Re: sherlock series 4 (spoilers inside)

Do this pictures Arwel posts really mean anything?

For example, last year we had this "cow with character" pic posted in relation with TAB. But did it have anything to do with the actual episode? Nope.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: sherlock series 4 (spoilers inside)

I thought this was one of his usual ones, when they are just about to begin building the set.
We did have the pic he gave us of the bath that time, which presumably related to Sherlock and Janine in the bathroom.

We also had two teddybears in the corb, Milne quotes, mask of Benedict floating in the strange liquid... and none of these make a lick of sense.

Re: sherlock series 4 (spoilers inside)

Are you sure they were posted by Arwel? I seem to remember most came from Douglas Mackinnon.

Yeah, many of them were from Douglas, I remember now... still, I´m puzzled by them, because none of them had any relavance to TAB that was broadcasted later.

Re: sherlock series 4 (spoilers inside)

Yes, that was weird. But I remember Arwel posting lots of lovely set building pics from series 3. And Claire gave us the one of the wig, didn't she? Which was indeed used in TAB.

Re: sherlock series 4 (spoilers inside)

The weird ones were probably in-jokes between cast and crew. The tweets are not necessarily for the fan followers, these people do have colleagues and friends of their own, just like anyone else

Something new from Arwel...

Part of the floor? A boat plank? New murder weapon in one of the cases? Who knows...

Re: sherlock series 4 (spoilers inside)

My bet would be the 221b floor. Looks very much like it. Not sure if the thing it is lying on has any deeper meaning.

Re: sherlock series 4 (spoilers inside)

Does the crotch in the background have any deeper meaning?

(I was wondering what an inkwell holder was doing in a modern desk.   Then I realised it wasn't an inkholder, but I think somewhere to run computer cables.   And now I feel very old!).
