Colours and Backgrounds
Is there any way for us to change our own colourschemes on here? To me the default backgrounds of the site make things very hard to read, so I'm curious to know if we can set it individually.

I don't know about your kind of difficulties, but are you familiar with the concept of using your own stylesheet (CSS)?

And I was too quick - if I simply tell my browser (Firefox) not to use the "standard style" but "no style", the view changes to HTML standard - which means black text, blue links, white background.
