Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

So here is the right thing for a Monday morning. You remember when they did not tell Korea that Johnlock was secret?

What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

This is the way Sherlock looks at John when he thinks he can't see him.

Is there a kiss hiding behind this obnoxious head?

Sherlock needed to granstand to woo John. Enough said.

Oh yes!

And I am absolutely sure that is a kiss! My mind won't see it any different!

Cutest little "peck" on record.

And I said "dangerous" and here you are.

You. It's always you. John Watson, you keep me right.

Sherlock (TV series) - Offensive: an implication of impropriety
IMPERTINENT AND OFFENSIVE
In The Abominable Bride, Sherlock and John find the notion of eloping impertinent and offensive? But why? They don’t really look offended by the insinuation of being a couple. Still it is impertinent because it is not proper.

Goes on to compare the conversation with one from The Snowmen (Doctor Who, also written by Moffat) between Madame Vastra and Jenny and another character, about their relationship.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I love the scene. I got really excited when watching "The Snowmen" because it reminded me so much of Sherlock, even before the use of "offensive" in TAB.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Yes! Gosh I love that scene in The Snowmen. I love the parallel to TAB!

and I love those subtle clues from those times... The romantic ways to express your sexuality.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I was watching ASiP again last night, for science, and for some reason I was struck harder than usual by the Angelo's scene.

Why?  Why is that conversation even in the episode?   It does not advance the plot and it doesn't add anything to the narrative arch of the series..........UNLESS, you read it as romantic flirting.

All I can say is WHY?
