Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

John is very curious about Sherlock´s "impulses"... why?
And why is Sherlock so squeamish? It´s just an innocent little talk between "bros" anyway?

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

The whole conversation inside the greehouse was very interesting from the Johnlock point of view, IMHO. Holmes was almost forced to confess that he is a homosexual and spill the beans to Watson, hehehe.

And Sherlock created that in his mind. He made Watson almost force him to confess.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Of course he is, in every thing short of official.

Watched TAB four times now -well, I had to pause during the current fourth watching to share this, which has struck me ever since the first time.
Right before Watson gives Holmes the talk, he almost gets up, Holmes says "Get down, Watson, for Heaven's sake's" (sniggers) to which Watson replies "Sorry. Cramp."
I mean "cramp"? With Holmes saying a moment later that them being "together like that" is "murder on the knees"?
How could it be any more obvious?

Nice observation, Lily.

I just discovered something similar in this meta posted under the pic:

Just saw this on Tumblr.  It was suggested we send it to TPTB before they start filming S4.

Followed by Sherlock's remark that it is hard on the knees or something like that. Remember his line from ASiP about Sally and Anderson?

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

The first one: This is such a crucial moment. Using the first name among men was immensely intimate in those times. And John is in no way bothered by the implied intimacy. I have no idea how anyone can regard this scene as throwing Johnlock down the fall.

The second one: Yes. That is all I have to say. Or I may alternatively quote my sig.
