    I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

    I found this photo of Ben that I thought I would post here (although he is with another person in the photo).

    I haven't seen this one around too much...



    Here is also the text from the archives of The Sunday Times that appears along side of it...

    "... Cumberbatch was best known for his stage performances. He appeared at The Royal Court Theatre, Sloane Square, in three plays during the 2007/08 season and Mark Ellidge photographed him in all of them. Cumberbatch's last appearance at The Royal Court was alongside Hattie Morahan in Martin Crimp's play, The City, in April 2008. He played the part of a man whose inner life collapses after he loses his job in the City, and his performance was described as "brilliant" when Robert Hewison reviewed it for us."

    I know I have seen shots of this production with BC in it before but I don't think I have seen this exact shot before.
