And well, this has nothing to do with anything, but I just found this pic and I'm totally loving it:

Nice one.

Brilliant No Tom Baker though, that would have been even better! I wonder what the world record is for the most Doctors in one place?

Only five Doctors as well, sorry...

Ha, it seems it always comes down to five...

Solar, I love these pictures !
And I couldn't agree more, it's always a (more than) good thing to become a DW nerd!

Especially as it's mainly Doctor Who nerds who are writing and acting it!
Thanks for posting the pictures, Solar - love them!

My pleasure, ladies! And there is more...!

OH MY GOD, I need to quote my own post! Look closely, reeeeaaally closely...! Matt isn't Matt! Or to be more precise: That guy is actually called Matt, but it's not Matt Smith! Ha! I saw him on The Graham Norton Show, it was hilarious... and now here he is again! The resemblance is stunning, don't you think?
Here is a link to Graham Norton, if you wanna have a look (David and the real Matt are guests):

The resemblance is striking, I've to admit...Thank you for pointing it out.
To be honest, I find the pic even more awesome in a way

I like the in-joke of having the fifth Doctor actor's daughter play the tenth Doctor's daughter, and the fact that the tenth Doctor actor then later married the actress who played his daughter
I've started keeping a list of all the episodes I've seen and those I still have to watch, and then I discovered how many mini-episodes there are. Most of the ones I've found seem to be from the sixth series onwards, but I did miss one called Time Crash which was aired after series 3. Does anyone know if there are any other little extras I've missed from before s4?
Edit: Never mind, I found a list
Lol… I know… I loved it! Like the story that Solar mentioned… it's so cute yet hilarious that it happened that way…. Doctor's daughter who played a Doctor's daughter having a daughter with the Doctor, who's favorite Doctor was her father. (which is why those two getting to do 'Time Crash' for a charity special was so great).
Oo… and you watched the 'Reboot' special already, that was done for the 50th? Cool… fans were so happy they basically made a fun little 'reunion' thing in addition to the actual ep having several Doctors, but yeah, lots of 'nods' to things and cameos to know who everyone is! I'm melting at those pics! Seen some, but love it… too bad they didn't get one of Everybody (I mean really… eight Doctors in one pic would have been amazing)! And yeah, that guy is very striking!
And by chance, was the list you found one like this? (came across this when was surprised myself at realizing they had made so many little 'minis' in between things, and was trying to find out what they were)… very nicely/thoroughly laid out! Thought that might be useful… but honestly, don't fret about having seen them all. Seems most were done for little extras on the dvd (and barely more than short blips, so not missing anything), or in the case of the better Time Crash, Music of the Spheres, Tonight's The Night (which is actually the name of the show Barrowman hosted, with fan guests) and such, were charity/show/proms specials. Kinda neat they seemed to kick it up with prequels in later seasons. (I'm still waiting for one with Me and Jack! ;D)
A friend offhand mentioned that they heard Me was coming back for one more appearance? Combine that with River stopping in (which just occurred to me might be confusing if you don't know her story), and Clara leaving, and I wonder what they're up to!

Yes, you cannot imagine Me not coming back, after the way TWWL finished, can you?
Anyway, here's a link that could interest you on that topic

Yay for Maisie!

Wow… yeah! Making it quite ominous, huh….

Wow, I finally caught up with Doctor Who so I can visit this thread without fear of spoilers.
Last season was the first I ever watched (so Capaldi is 'my' Doctor, I guess), but is it just me or is the quality of the writing so much better than last year? Last year, I basically only loved the episodes written by Moffat, but now I think they're all great and original.
I really loved this episode too, shapeshifting aliens are just cool. Did anyone else notice all the contemporary issues that were hinted at in this week's episode? Refugees, radicalising, even the rocket that Clara is holding looks a lot like the description of the thing that had blown up that passenger airplane above Ukraine.

Still trying to formulate my thoughts to last night's, but just one thing….
And yes, silver! I tend to jokingly over-think things instead of just watching and done with it, but also just watching stuff like this and getting so so much dang 'depth' out of it… the writing, and the idea of the two-parters this season, and mixing it up, really has been quite well done! First the idea of immortality again, and now refugees and radicals. Plus another darn tease about a 'hybrid'!Holy crap…… Clara?!?!
(This is the 'leaving' the article/rumors were teasing about? But if they think Ashildr is/was involved with Clara, I'm kind of picturing her keeping up her promise/friendly 'threat' that she'll be watching after the Doctor's friends, and was there in the background for helping Clara out later. Except she only returns in 'Face The Raven', so maybe just helping the Doctor/delivering a few strong words about what happened to his friend, or that she couldn't do anything about a dang alien invasion (literally))

We were out, so missed this week's.
I haven't caught up on it yet, but of course saw the spoilers on Twitter...
I'm liking what I've heard!
