When I see images like this one, I always have to wonder what the creative reasoning was behind it. The wings are gorgeous, I'll give you that.  But the tailor-made Hugo Boss suit?  lol  Do angels wear HB?

Sorry, I never even tried to claim Benedict is a saint...mainly because I don't think he is.
The picture we were discussing was of him at a childrens charity, which he was attending on his only day off in the week, when he has a young baby at home.
I would find it hard to say no to a  childrens charity, anyhow.

I know. I know what you were saying. I was only half-teasing, but also half-serious. Do you know if he's ever said publicly why he would choose to use his "only day off in the week" to attend a charity event, and why specifically that one? Sorry, this is a picture thread. I'll drop this line of discussion now.

I was actually quite happy when I once saw an interview with Ben where I found him to act quite a bit annoying towards the interviewer. Not because it made me like him any less (it didn't), but because it made me remove him from the pedestal.

Oh, and er... just to put this thread back on track - here, have some Pilotlock!

Beautiful pic, Mira.

I think I found that smiley Benedict on mental-leaps.tumblr.com, but I may err...

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Well, Benedict has fluffy white sheets reserved for Sherlock, so he wears HB instead in his "angel mode". It´s a good substitute.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Oh MiraH, that is a wonderful picture!  (forgive me, it's so odd typing that beautiful name when it's not in my fanfic...)

And hey, isn't he just angelic looking? Even when he's anything but.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I think it's amazing that with just his face and a touch of hair in the picture you can still see that he is in character as Sherlock.
