Yep he's at The Royal Court theatre, doing that kids charity thing.
Cumberbuddy posted a pic of herself there.

He looks kind of tired, don't you think? Then again, we know already that Hamlet is a very demanding show.

Clueing for looks.

Having a wife and a little baby are pretty demanding, too; his life has not exactly become uncomplicated in the last year or so.  Anyway, I don't think he looks tired there, maybe bored more than anything, lol.  He'd probably rather be home with his feet up, watching football on TV and drinking a beer. lol

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I hope he'd rather be with said baby son!
Having said that, Benedict is very good at supporting charities in general and particularly those for young people.
Very noble to do this on his day off.

What are you reading, my prince?
Words, words, words....

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

His Hamlet is magic. I can't wait to relive it on Sunday!

And I love the curls he's sporting today, though bless I have to agree he does look tired. But I can't blame him for that! Hopefully he knows how to handle his own life.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I just worry that he's so good hearted, he'd find it hard to say no to a childrens charity.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Yeah, I have the same worries, but hopefully he'll 'sacrifice' something else...
I do worry though, that he'd end up burning the candle at both ends... Hamlet is like a marathon alone and should exhaust him... and add to that his family life and the rest he's doing.

But he should know what he's doing...

You gals need to try harder to not turn Ben into St. Benedict. I mean, seriously.  Nice guy, very talented, looks good in his clothes, but....  he's just a guy, like any other guy, doing his work and trying to be a decent person.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Sorry, I never even tried to claim Benedict is a saint...mainly because I don't think he is.
The picture we were discussing was of him at a childrens charity, which he was attending on his only day off in the week, when he has a young baby at home.
I would find it hard to say no to a  childrens charity, anyhow.

He may not be a saint but that doesn't mean I won't fall to my knees....................................ok.  Moving on.
Nothing to see here.
