I've never seen the photo before, but if it's a manipulation it's a very good one. But since I've never seen it before, it looks like would have to have been a set photo from some kind of outtake or deleted scene. That's my sense of it. The yellow and blue lighting doesn't look like the lighting from any of the other clubs we see in the episode that I recall, but I could just be forgetting something.
Either way, Sherlock's having trouble having is drink from the looks of it.
