Yes, including in that new magazine article. It says even that it was air "at Christmas," though it's not explicit whether they mean Christmas day itself or around Christmas but not on the exact day.
And yet we get conflicting information. I do wonder what it's actually going to be.

My thoughts are that they are calling it a Christmas Special because it will air around Christmas, not because the story involves Christmas.

I found a website that lets me paste the URL of the video in and watch it on a proxy server 
so I get to hear Benedict's voice along with the crumb 
Wish the clip was a bit longer though!
