BBC1 tweets

It seems that BBC1 joined BBC3 in craziness:

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: BBC1 tweets

The only job the BBC has is to announce the date for the special!

Well, showing the special afterwards would be great too ...

God, yes!

I know what I'll be watching next Monday -as if I need the "excuse" of the reruns

Re: BBC1 tweets

They are re-running all the shows on PBS also. I woke up at 5:00 am Monday morning to the lovely boys in ASiB.  It did cross my mind that they are reviving the shows in preparation for the Special.  One can only hope.

Re: BBC1 tweets

Well Sue Vertue did make a point of saying that it's not a Christmas special (at ComicCon)... Perhaps we can expect a happy announcement that the Special will be aired sooner rather than later?

Mark Gatiss said that shortly after the special was announced. He said something like "who said it's a Christmas special" So I always was quite sure it wouldn't be one.
