Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

I'm well aware that the saying existed long before Sherlock, but it's Johnlock I think of when I see/hear it now

Wow, so many gems!

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

I've no picture because I couldn't find my phone in time before the bus started moving again... (I'll just have to go back later on to update this post!).
but here I was, on my way to a play, when we stopped in front of a pub called "The Three Johns"...

No explications needed, I think...

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

It´s some Russian fairytale about a little hedgehog wandering through a fog, carrying a bottle of strawberry jam with him. Very John like.
