Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

You must warn them not to take a cab!

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

For the shear fun of it (gosh, that was a bad one).

Clueing for looks.

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

Today we made a trip to a beautiful little town where we visited three old castles. But can you believe it, in front of one of them I found this sign:

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

My daughter spotted one of these trucks on the way to school yesterday.

"Look mum, it's like John Watson," she says. But the Transport bit is the icing on the cake, don't you think?

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

Sadly though there wasn't any sign saying "Reserviert J.W.".

Don. Definitely the brother of John.

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

It would have been epic if there had been a spot for J.W. too! And I love the truck!

My Mini Holmes finally found a spot... and a new friend (yes, that joke is old...)

Perfect indeed! Nobody except for all Sherlockians will get this joke!
