More from the lovely Una Stubbs: Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are like sons to me. (Aww.)

Re: The amazing Una Stubbs aka Mrs Hudson

That is really lovely.

And some days I read - and could hardly believe it - that she has never seen "Sherlock" on TV. Not a single episode. Because she does not like to watch her work. What a shame, she is such a wonderful character.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

They would make a lovely couple!
Seriously, more like Mum + son.
The affection is obvious.

Re: The amazing Una Stubbs aka Mrs Hudson

Una will appear in the comedy "Golden Years", in theatres from the end of this month.
A group of pensioners in financial crisis decide to rob banks.
Also features our favourite evil cabby, Philip Davis.

I think I saw a book on which this is based! Sounds very funny and interesting.
