Eeeeeeeeeeeeee

the moustache will have to disappear.

Whatever happened to "I prefer my doctors clean-shaven"?
Also - Sherlock is elbowing John's arse.
And that means I should go to bed now.

Not only is he elbowing John's arse, but if you extend Sherlock's arm (well, yes, that one, teehee) to John's side, the space between those two will form the letter L -for Love, obviously.
No, I'm not cracking up. Promise.
Hahem. Goodnight.

This was worth staying up for.
As much as I'm a Curls-girl this REALLY helps me forgive the lack of them.

OMG I hadn't even noticed that until you pointed it out!
On another note, I'd always imagined Victorian Dr. Watson with a moustache (although one closer to the one in The Empty Hearse, but still), so it doesn't really surprise me (not to mention he had one in an earlier promo pic as well). Maybe Victorian Sherlock is more tolerant of the moustache? Or maybe we'll have a Victorian version of the moustache-mocking?
I like Sherlock's shoes very much.

Holmes might be more tolerant regarding the moustache because facial hair was more of a thing at that time?
Yes, I like his shoes very much, too.
Why would Watson be sort of sitting on the chair Holmes is in and not completely standing? Or sit in another chair? If that doesn't scream TJLC, it sure screams *not gay, but intimate*. Or maybe that's just me.
I thought I said I'd go to bed xD

And may I add:

lol Whisky that would be funny. But I'm not sure they made undergarments of that colour at the time, and I'm sure even if they did they'd be difficult to stuff into a jacket pocket. Also, I've never seen a jacket pocket on the other side.

Now I have this imagine of John trying to put gigantic red pants into a tiny pocket... it's a bit disturbing, but ok, I'm going to sleep now anyway.... lovely dreams that'll be ;-)

Good heavens, you all realise that this is not a Johnlock thread. Or is it?
Anyway, ladies, thanks for all the fun. What a nice thing to wake up to in the morning.
Of course I would have preferred a green carnation to a red handkerchief but I suppose you cannot have everything.

That moustache looks soooo fake...!!!

New promo pic launched at midnight just now.
Cool pic, but honestly... that mustache for John?
So this is that "little midnight treat" that was announced yesterday! Very nice! And distinctly in style of Granada Sherlock Holmes....

I like the pic although I am not a fan of Granada Holmes or Jeremy Brett. Sorry, but it does not work for me at all. Never has. So I hope we will get our boys in Victorian outfits. THAT would work for me.

Of course, Granada might not be to your liking - every taste is individual and indeed, the 80-ties filming style in which Granada was filmed looks very unglamorous compared with today´s cinematic style in which BBC Sherlock was made. Jeremy Brett´s manic Sherlock is a thing of individual taste too. Still, I think one must admit that as adaptations of ACD canon goes, Granada was one of the best and more complete + plenty of great English actors appeared in supporting roles throughout the series. So it cannot be all dismissed, IMHO.

This made me laugh:

Yeah, some interesting points.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw the elbow-thingy. Means I'm not the only one with the dirty mind.
