I still fanfics that make my heart skip a beat. Not so often but this goes for other literature as well. I recommended one the other day which for me has some of those special moments.
Tbh, I never heard of that. Seems quite far-fetched. But what about Johndler? Or Irenson?

May I mention that I find Sherlock or John with tentacles extremely disturbing? Or worse, one of them is pregnant.....
Sorry for being OT yet again...

Mindblowing was the hint, actually... my fav *is* Progress of Sherlock Homes ;-)
Apart from it, I'd strongly suggest Performance in a Leading Role or Saving Sherlock Holmes. (Well, and all the others *hehe*)
Just started the paradox series ;-)
There, finished Progress. It took me a few chapters to get into the writing style, I'm normally not too fond of first person writing. But once the story started properly I couldn't put it down and read it all in one go. Very well written and very interesting story. I did find Mary and Mycroft slightly different from how I picture them, and not sure I agree with how they were portrayed. But very well done and a very good read. Thanks for the tip.

Both of those are no-go for me.

I see what you mean. I am not too fond of Tunalock either. Or is this just a picture thing?

I have never heard of Tunalock before but OMG, the spelling programme of my smartphone has. O.o I misspelled it Tinalock and it offered Tunalock. I think my phone is reading creepy stuff without me.

LOL, your phone ships tunalock! How about fawnlock?

Don't give it any more ideas! It's a miracle didn't dream about it last night.

Good heavens, please no fawnlock for me.

I also shy away from balletlock.
I've seen (but not read) at least two fics that are crossovers between Richard III, Sherlock and Star Trek, meaning we get Sherlock, Khan and Richard III in the same story. I don't like crossovers in the first place, but when you start to add various pairings between these characters my head starts to spin.

Ballettlock? I didn't even know that existed.
And @Susi, yes, tunalock is most definetely a picture problem...

It's very popular, there are ton of fics where Sherlock is a ballet dancer and John is a rugby player. Usually combined with teenlock.

Ugh. That should go to our reading challenge thread...

That can be quite funny and lovely, just have a look at her tags:

After re-reading AJHall's Rigging Screws yesterday I think you are right. I still find it brilliant. But then, it's way outside the usual storylines...

Speaking of favorites, I love "Be Here Now" with all my heart and soul.
Also, I bet I've read "Multiply the Sum of Our Parts" a dozen times.

"Be Here Now" is great, as is the sequel "Kill Switch". What an emotional rollercoaster ride!
