Where was the car park? What kind of store? I wonder what's going on there...

'Seems like John is indeed an author' I thought.
And then I realised.

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

No, no idea. Some maudlin love story I think.
(John's poems for his girlfriend, maybe?) I'll be sure to have a proper look when I go back, though.

You're right, Harriet. "S" is probably for "Sir", because contrary to Sherlock, John would have accepted the knighthood, I suppose.

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

I googled S.J. Watson and unless that's a different one than is in the photo, it looks like he's the author of the book Before I Go to Sleep, which is about a woman who gets amnesia every night she goes to sleep.  I haven't read it, but my mom did and I think she liked it.

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

Not mine, but saw it on pinterest.  I wanna go here!!

The poster's caption just joked about musing about all the confused Sherlockians wandering around inside, and no mention of where it was.  Somewhere else it was mentioned it was in a doctor's office park, or a lawyer.  Doctor or lawyer?  Still sounds good!  ;)

I've read it and liked it a lot. There is also a movie (quite famous, starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth), but after having read the book I don't dare to watch it. Quite often the books are much better than films. So I prefer it the other way round.

And of course I then noticed "S.J.Watson" and I'm sure it's Johns pseudonym.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Silly pictures of associations only Sherlockians can understand

I´m pretty sure one of John´s ex-girlfriends wrote this (by a haunted house, she meant 221/B Baker Street haunted by Sherlock´s chilly experiments):

I love that the dogs make you go 'awwwww!' and then just laugh at how only a fan could jump to getting the immediate 'similarity'.
