The little boy dressed as Hamlet in the poster has auburn hair... Does this mean Ben will have his natural hair colour for Hamlet?
I wish I wish I wish.
I'm going to try putting that poster on a t-shirt to wear to 221b con.

A short interview with director Lyndsey Turner. Great to hear Benedict specifically chose her:

This is going to be amazing! Still jealous of those of you that will be in the same room with Benedict but so exctied for the National Theater live showing. I've got some girlfriends going with me and we're going to make a day of it. I'm going to make myself a special t-shirt and goodie bags for everyone! We'll go out to eat and fangirl after. *bouncy bouncy*

Brilliant idea. I am sure you are going to have a lot of fun (and do not forget the hankies).
Yesterday my daughter and I talked about Benedict's voice and she suddenly said: Imagine we are going to hear it live, in the same room with him.

You lucky people, I still don't know whether I'll get a chance to see it. I'll be at school when it's broadcast, and even though my university is in a small city, I'd have to take the bus there and hopefully it wouldn't be sold out by the time I arrived. Unless I order the ticket online. Still, you lucky people who get to see him live...
EDIT: Just checked the cinema website and unless they're going to add it, it's not playing at the cinema in the city where my school is....

I am sure they will not just show it once, Yitzock, but do encores like they did with "Frankenstein" and "Coriolanus".

We talked about with my daughter, recently, and she is super excited we are going to see Hamlet at Barbican.
Thank you for the link, Susi: I hope we will have more Hamlet related news, soon. But so Benedict-like behaviour, lol.

I'm really hoping Hamlet will be screened at a cinema near me. I think I've found a website for it, and I've signed up for emails, so fingers crossed. Looks like it will be on from November 7th.
You lucky, lucky people who are going to see it live!

I was very excited when I heard Hands had been cast.

I wonder.
You've got to figure there are people out there scalping tickets to Hamlet. I wonder what they are going for?

That seems like a fair way to go about those tickets!

I found a cinema in Canberra that is showing Hamlet! I have decide that my husband is taking me to see it for my birthday (my birthday is at the end of October, and we're going to see Hamlet on the 7th November, so that works well). So I've booked it, and fingers crossed nothing crops up to prevent me from seeing it, as the tickets are non-transferable or refundable etc. I shall turn absolutely monstrous if anyone tries to stop me!

That's great news, Amber! So glad for you!

Is there anybody who has been sent the tickets already?
Offline
I was told they would be sent 5 days before the show... so I called the ticket service to let me collect them at the box office instead

We choose box office as well when we booked the tickets. We thought it would be safer.
I just realised, there is still a question mark in the subject. At this point, I think it's safe to say that he definitely will play Hamlet.
