Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Curls.... (sighs dreamily)

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

That last one was stunning!

And cute at Supreme Court!

(And, yes, John is actually standing closer to his best man than his wife outside the church).

Looking tired but who can blame him?

He looks really tired. But I don't feel much better so...

P.S.: I think I will keep that book in my mind.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Indeed, SolarSystem! Sometimes I really want his clothes.

Well, after all those photos I'm grinning and it's great but I have to stop before my parents come in the room and ask me why I'm making this face.

Well, he does have a baby on the way, so who knows how tiring his life already might be.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

He just looks to me absolutely gratified that JR's exertion to tell his story openly is over.  Sometimes our friends' struggles are burdens that we take on ourselves in part and we do so with the full knowledge that it helps lighten the load for them. I have a feeling (and this was reinforced by James' own words in the clips today) that Ben is exactly that kind of friend - supportive, steadfast, caring and emotionally empathetic.  So if he looks even a bit tired it is probably something that is an extention of James' recent stressful undertakings to get his story heard in full IMO.

I love this photo especially - what a bond the two of them must have! (Credit to the DM)

I think it tells a lot about their friendship and the relief they both feel with today's decision by the court.

BTW: I just read the court's decision in full and it was... inescapably horrific and uplifting at the same time.  Horrific when you go over the details of James' ordeal (what he went through is so,so heinious I would defy anyone not to be moved to tears) and uplifting that the final judgement was absolutely the correct one to make.

Lovely!

I haven't seen this one before either. It's like Sherlock's clothes but without the Sherlock hair.

There are so many different ones from that photoshoot, so I'm not entirely sure about having seen this one before, either. But it's lovely, isn't it?
There is another one from that shoot, by the way...
