Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

BBC has several TV channels. BBC 1 broadcasts the episodes first, the repeat airings have been on BBC 3. They belong to the same broadcasting group.

And is this Johnlock stuff supposed to be like advertising or something?  Or a simple attempt at humor? I guess I'm confused. *smile*  As if that's news.

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

Well, I think they might be preparing the audience for things to come. And having fun with those that have already deduced what is happening between Sherlock and John. For me it is a clever and funny way of interacting with the audience and keeping people interested during the long periods between the series. Maybe after the end of HLV we even get a trailer for the special or another hint just like they did when series 1 and 2 aired in 2013.

The most important thing for me, however, is that by this BBC demonstrates how they are not afraid of addressing these topics or including them in their programmes.

BBC3 loves us and wants us to be happy. Gatherings in the comprehensive thread for the next eight Mondays ???

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

Of course. Cannot wait.

But I put it in here for a reason because it shows that it is more than a fan made fantasy.

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

Are they doing this to pull our leg?  (It just seems too good to be true).

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

We cannot be sure that they are better informed about things than us. But there seems to be a firm johnlocker pulling some strings, and most importantly, nobody stops him.

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

Well, pulling our legs for nine weeks last year and then again now would be a bit too much, I suppose. Of course they are joking, but I think there is more to it.

I love how they mention the very points we have been going over for months on end. So either they know or they are avid visitors of tumblr. Or both.
