Some of the excellent Panels.
* AU and Crossover Panel - Come discuss the great number of alternate universe and crossover fic available in the Sherlock Holmes fandom.
* Cabin Pressure: A to Z – Bow to the awesomeness that is John Finnemore.
At this one, just like last year, John Finnemore was talking to us and taking our questions on Twitter! He's so lovely.
* Canon 101 - Unsure where to start? Want to know the jokes behind the Speckled Blonde and the Geek Interpreter? Here’s the panel to ask questions without judgment
.* Fanon: What the Hell is Wrong with Us?: A look at the fan theories that make it into the collective consciousness. What’s with Anderson and the dinosaurs? And are red pants really that sexy?
* Female Detectives Inspired by Sherlock Holmes – From Miss Marple to Veronica Mars, there are a number of wonderful women characters who are influenced by the Great Detective
.* From House to Psych: Hollywood’s Appropriation of Deductive Reasoning: Even outside of direct Sherlock Holmes remakes, Hollywood seems to have a million uses for the Great Detective’s science of deduction. Come discuss some of the great, and not so great, shows that can trace their origins back to Sherlock Holmes.
* The Gender Politics of Fandom – A look at fan-created erotic material through a feminist lens. In this panel we will discuss the revolutionary implications of fan works created by women for women. This will be an 18+ panel. Please bring ID.
* Granada Holmes – The closest visual representation of canon in existence. A panel on the continued legacy of the Granada series.
* Sherlock Holmes and Audio Drama – From the early days of radio to the latest Big Finish, a discussion of the audio dramas of Sherlock Holmes.
* Sherlock Holmes’s London Travel Guide – London on the cheap! And where are all those filming locations, anyway?
* Victorian Costuming – A discussion of techniques and starting points for the Victorian cosplayer.
* Villains of Sherlock Holmes: The Good, the Bad, and the Woman – Share your observations of the various villains we have grown to love… or hate
.* Was Watson a Woman?: Gender Changes in Sherlock Holmes – Discussion of the various gender changes made in Sherlock Holmes adaptations.
* Watsons through Time – A look at the many different actors to portray Watson.
..........and so many more. You can see just from these though that there really is something for everyone. Although the BBC Sherlock does dominate the fandom a bit right now there's so many aspects of Sherlock to explore.

Three Patch Podcast
If you don't listen to the Three Patch Podcast you really should. These lovely ladies are smart and funny and huge fangirls.
One of the things they have done for 221b con each year is set up a Con Suite where they host parties and offer up drinks and snacks. It's a great place to relax between panels and have some fun conversations. The con-suite was really a highlight of my weekend.
On Friday and Saturday night from 1am - whenever they hosted what they called "Porny Bedtime Stories." Basically people read aloud from their favorite sexy fics!!
Saturday night at their big party they gave a way a ton of cool door prizes. They also had a Sherlock cosplayer jump out of a huge cake and toss swag to us! There was more cake to come as they presented a popular Mycroft cosplayer with his very own chocolate treat. The things Mycroft did to that cake. It was both distrubing and sexy!
Even if you don't list to the poscast you may already be familiar with some of the members. Both roane, author of "Pull the Stars From the Sky" and Emma Grant of "A Cure for Boredom" fame are a part of the group.
..........to be continued. But first, more pictures!
