This is brilliant indeed. I can't wait to see how the 'perspective' and feeling will change, will be different from seeing it live at the Barbican. Surely the various camera angles will present some whole new insights.

I am deliriously happy they are doing a theater broadcast. It's such a wonderful thing for the fans.

That's awesome!! Hope Denmark picks up on this...

Absolutely.

Will this be like the Frankenstein screenings? Could it spread to Germany? *hopeful*

I'm pretty sure it will.

First thing I did this morning was check the web site but no dates for the US yet.
It's going to make me nuts until I can get tickets.

No venues in Germany too. They are slow at NTL.

I seem to remember that they never reliably showed the German Frankenstein venues. We always searched for them somewhere else. So you should check with the cinemas in your area as well.

Wasn't it with Düsseldorf the other way round? It already was on the NTL site and the cinema didn't know it.
Offline
This is possible. But before I went the first time, I kept looking at the NTL website and they never showed anything for Germany.

Tickets on sale now for Atlanta and the server is overloaded! I'm going to scream!

Trying to remain calm. I can't believe there will only be one encore showing.

I wonder when they are going to announce the cast? It's just him at the moment isn't it? I liked the Gary Oldman rumour last summer.

Yes, I have been wondering about that, too. Would be nice for the other members of the cast to be able to announce their involvement. Or he will be doing a one-man show surrounded by puppets or something.

I really didn't need those pictures in my head Susi. *twitch*
Still no luck. The theater I would go to has been down all day. There are other tickets going on sale on the 27th.
I shall keep hope alive.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, tonnaree.
And I really wonder about the rest of the cast, too. They have to know by now who will be in the play, actors have to plan such things after all...

I hope they won't go for a team of young actors - it would be a great idea and in linea with the project of doing Hamlet as if it was a "fresh" play, but there would be a critical backlash, I think, and we really don't need it.
