Regarding the curls. My oldest son has curls, they inherit them from me, so it's all my fault, and he hates them. We sent him out one day with some money to get his hair cut and he came back almost scalped. He hates his curls and I can't help wondering if Ben is the same. I know he hates his Sherlock hair as he's said so more than once. I must admit I don't like mine much either.

I have very curly hair. When I was in high school (in the 70's!) everyone had long straight hair and that's what I wanted so bad. Used chemeical straightners for years.
Finally after college a close friend convinced me to go natural. Now I wouldn't trade my curls for anything! They are cute, low maintainance and suit my personality.

Perhaps the person at HuffPo Canada who has a full-time job collecting photos of Benedict is moon-lighting?
