Re: Favourite Martin pics

Having a good time:

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

What she said.  I'll just be melted over here staring at the pic with a smile.
I love how the people are dispersed enough that he dominates the center of the photo, and stylishly/casually walking along.  It's a second later that you notice it's not a Victorian crowd, and there's Ben (and another guy) behind him, and just smile even more at how even he looks in the same 'mode' as Martin.

We solve crimes, I blog about it, and he forgets his pants.  I wouldn't hold out too much hope!

Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay!

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.

Ben, Martin and that other guy behind Ben, all in period dress but surrounded by a modern crowd, look like time-travelers. Maybe I've seen too much Star Trek, lol.

I love that mental image.    Unflappable John Watson, striding along just slightly disconcerted and wondering what they're going to do, while Sherlock has his 'this isn't logical, this can't be happening!' face, and the other guy is just trying to keep up with them both.

Maybe the other guy is the Lestrade of that Victorian time where they picked up those clothes! Someone should write this fan fic, lol.

Re: Favourite Martin pics

It's from Nativity, as is the one underneath

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dean - "I'm not happy about it. But I got to move on. So I'm gonna keep doing what we do...while I still can. And I'd like you to be there with me."

Sam - "I'm your brother, Dean, if you ever need to talk about anything with anybody, you got someone right here next to you."
