Re: Fan art

Made my day:

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Fan art

I just fell in love with this one, probably because it has a slightly dark feel to it...

This is my first ever sketch of Benedict, done very late at night in bad lighting. I have only realised how bad it is now that it's uploaded to tumblr. Oh well

Re: Fan art

One half is quite good, actually!

(Something odd seems to have happened to the other half, but it's worth trying again  )

Re: Fan art

Thank you. It does look pretty odd  . His eyes don't match, forehead is too long, nose too short. I tried to fix it and made it worse. I might try again in pencil next time
