Yes, I´m distubded myself over how completely uninteresting I find all this... ![]()

I think it's just because we don't know much at the moment, and it's all a bit confusing so we don't know what we're supposed to get excited about, exactly. I reckon that once we get a trailer and so on, things will pick up ![]()

(Sorry... I wanted to be cool... I really tried!)

Several people are reporting having seen Andrew Scott on set, with Ben. But no pics and it hasn't been confirmed so we don't know yet.

Prediction of the special

Ooooh! Not touchy-feely Christmas episode then! A dark, macabre tale... ![]()
Meanwhile, fans nicely identified the contents of Victorian Baker Street. Wow! ![]()

Interesting.... So no "Blue carbuncle" or " Three garridebs" then, as assumed by fans?

Nakahara: Tbh, I never really expected them to use up their whole precious 90 minutes for a happy Christmassy episode. But mist, night, crypts, cathedrals, Victorian morturaries - this is more I had dared to hope for.
I think they expected to see Three Garridebs in series 4 if I am not mistaken. I think the special might be in some way outside the story arc.

Here's an interview with Steven Moffat about Setlock and all the talks about fans disrupting. Made me calm down and be happy about all of it again.

I´m wondering if fans were that disturbed by Martin´s interview. It didn´t seem that dramatic to me.
Did they start avoiding Setlock?

There are always dramatics in any fandom. That's just how it goes. Sophie visiting Ben on first day of set created a shitstorm with people going "If Sophie stars in Sherlock for just a minute, a minute, Ben won't deserve to do anything but crappy commercials the rest of his life!"
Not kidding.

Yes, you are right. (rolling eyes)

Yes, some people tend to get hysterical about everything and make issues of every little detail. Apart from that, IMO Martin does have the right to state his opinion which may differ from Moffat's.

What I have read about fans and setlock is that in a poll a good 70% (or more, can't remember) voted Yes to stop with Setlock cuz of what Martin said. And this time around Setlock haven't been up to scale with the previous ones yet so I think it's hard to say if it's avoidance, disinterest or just inconvenient locations.
I also read that it's easy for SM to say who's barley even on set and also not an actor, that they don't mind having people there. But as long as the fans are being respectful and doesn't disturb or shout at the crew or actors I see no problem in them hanging around.

Oh, absolutely. He stated his opinion, and I believe him. We should take it to heart, but there's no reason to become hysterical and create drama over it.
