Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Whisky, you are always welcome to read and enjoy this thread. I just had to clarify that this thread is not for discussing if there is Johnlock because we already have the debate for this purpose. In here people post who like the idea and wish and expect to see it in the show. Feel free to read anytime.

Now here is the code deduction scene from ASiB without background music. Look at it and tell me who matters to Sherlock here and who is jealous.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

How anyone can read Sherlock being MORE attracted or more rightfully attracted to Irene than to John is beyond me. It's being interested in the way of intrigued, yes, but romantically? No way...

*peeking out of my cave*  And I come here too because it's one place where anyone who reads the thread can think what they like, but no one is allowed to tell us we johnlockers are wrong, delusional or less-than in any way. We all believe that Sherlock and John belong together, whether or not we ever actually get to see it in the show. So I consider this a safe place, which is lovely.

John's a total hoot all throughout that scene. "Hamish!" John looked more like a man caught in a riptide without a clue as to how he got there or how to escape, lol. Unfortunately, the video went dark on me, right before Irene says the infamous line about how she would have Sherlock right there on the desk. Twice. I sat here giggling.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Not just filthy. This is about love in all its forms.

Just found this on tumblr:

"People so easily read Sherlock going to save Irene at the end of Scandal as a romantic gesture, but when Sherlock restarts his own heart, shoots someone in cold blood, and is essentially sent to his death because of his love for a man, people suddenly have a harder time reading that romantically."

Exactly. If he did half the things he does for John for a woman, no one would ever deny that he is in love.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Yes, Susi, it all would be sooooo obvious if one of them were a woman.
And I still believe (and always will) that this is not about being gay or bisexual or straight, it's about falling in love with that one person that completes you and is the one.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Agreed.
Sherlock saved Irene and threw a guy out a window for Mrs. Hudson, but he came back from the dead for John Watson!

Also, the filth wouldn't be nearly as fun if there weren't all that love backing it up.

Perfectly put, Solar, absolutely nothing to add

I learned this in a tv show called "Torchwood".

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Yes, Susi, I can really recommend that programme from the bottom of my little Johnlocker heart.

And thanks for the warning... the moment when the lyrics go "I felt a rush like a rolling bolt of thunder" is especially sad...

Captain Jack and Ianto, sigh. Can I please have exactly this without the sad ending, Moftiss? Thank you.
